Differences

Suppose on a sheet of paper kept in front of you the number 9 is written. Obviously the person who is sitting opposite to you facing in the direction opposite to that of yours will read it as 6. In this situation it is true that you are correct if you say 9 is written on the sheet; but if the person who is in front of you says that it is 6 then it also doesn't mean that he is wrong. According to his perception he is absolutely correct.

This is obviously a simple case and it might be possible that many of us have read it in some or the other kind of meme. At that point of time we were smart enough to understand that though the difference has occurred between the two but none of them were wrong, but sadly we fail to implement it in our daily lives.

Every single entity in this universe is distinct from the other by some or the other way. Of course, humans are no exception to this. The problem is not with the fact of having the differences, but it is with the way we react to it. Many of us don't welcome it easily.

For us differences may occur due to many factors like physical appearances, family background, talents and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, behavioural patterns and ideas. These are those differences which we should accept as they aren't controlled by the one whom you are differentiating. We should look at the brighter side rather than the darker side of the person. Differentiation affects not only at personal level but also at a society level.

Suppose at there is a group of students. In that group, there is a student whose height is relatively shorter than others, but he is exceptionally good in academics than others. Now that group has an option of teasing him and rejecting him over his height problem or use his talents in order to improve their own skills. Options of the given case are simple, but the results are totally different.

Same happens at a larger group level; just pointing out the negative parts of the differences just leads to distrust, inequality and social instability. The effects of such differences are dangerous.
On the other hand accepting each other's differences will just lead to harmonious society which we all dream of.

Differences aren't good are bad; but the end results depend upon the way we accept it.
